CURA Freight Named as a ‘Best Place to Work’ in Tampa Bay

Sixty exceptional companies in the Tampa Bay area have been honored with the prestigious title of “Best Places to Work in Tampa Bay” for 2023 and CURA Freight is proud to be among them. These businesses have demonstrated that a positive workplace culture, effective recruitment, and employee retention are critical pillars to their success.

Here’s how the selection process took place:

First, the public submitted nominations for deserving companies. Next, employees working at the nominated companies were invited to participate in an online survey conducted by Quantum, a reputable workplace research firm.

The Quantum Workplace surveys were designed to assess various aspects of each company’s culture, including compensation, benefits, and trust in senior leadership. After collecting and evaluating the survey responses, Quantum ranked the companies based on their overall performance scores.

Quantum’s analytical tools then identified the top organizations in different size categories, which include small, medium, large, and extra-large companies. The results are based on quantitative data derived from the employee survey responses, avoiding any subjective influence from outside judges. This approach ensures fairness and impartiality in the evaluation process.

Employees were asked to evaluate their employers in several essential areas, such as team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement, and people practices. To ensure confidentiality and openness, employees’ responses were kept strictly confidential and anonymous throughout the survey process.
